AIS/MET System - Location Briefing

NOTAM and MET information can be requested by entering an authorised aerodrome abbreviation (YSSY), a navigation aid identifier (PLO),or a location common name (ALBANY),. Area MET information (Area Forecast and Area QNH) can be obtained by entering the 2-digit area number (e.g. 31).

AVFAX briefings must be obtained from NAIPS.

To check that your AVFAX account and custom codes are available in NAIPS, contact the AVFAX help desk on 07 3866 3573 and quote your AVFAX account number.
To register for NAIIPS, complete the NAIPS registration form at http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/brief/.
