Responding to Tweets

Where possible Airservices will respond to reasonable replies and messages sent via Twitter. Formal requests and enquiries should be made through email or mail to the relevant area within Airservices or use the contact form. Make sure you select the relevant subject matter in the drop-down menu.

Airservices monitors Twitter during normal working hours.

How we use Twitter

Our Twitter account is used to disseminate a broad range of information about Airservices activities.  This includes news, updates to our website, the release of new documents and publications, new safety promotion products, our attendance at events as well as a range of other activities.

Airservices will not release any private or confidential information on Twitter.

While Airservices will endeavour to maintain current and accurate information on Twitter, information may change over time and you are advised to check that information is current before relying on it.

Airservices may follow Twitter users involved with, relevant to, or actively discussing aviation issues in Australia. Being followed by @AirservicesNews does not imply endorsement of any kind.

Organisations and/or individuals that follow @AirservicesNews will not automatically be followed back.

Airservices will upload video (where available) of our air traffic control and aviation rescue and fire fighting operations, technology and major projects, our staff and key events or milestones.

Airservices also has a presence on LinkedIn, a social networking site used mostly for professional networking. Airservices uploads job and careers information to the page, along with providing links to relevant video content and other interesting information.
